Your contribution to this page will be greatly appreciated. Dear BirdfeedersRus Love my new bird house, cannot wait until I get occupants.Thought I would leave this tip,When I clean the lint filter in my dryer, I roll the lint up in a ball and stick it on a tree branch that I can see from my windows. My bird friends seem delighted, it does not stay long as it is carried away to feather their nests. There are lots of things around our homes that we discard that make great nesting materials, such as thread, string, wool yarn. remember to cut them into small pieces that birds can easily carry. Danielle H Fayetteville Ga Thank you for the prompt delivery of the fly through birdfeeder. Per your request I am sending you my bird suggestion. For the last few years I have been keeping a Bird Calendar, I note arrival dates, and departure dates of my backyard friends. It is interesting to see how close the dates are from year to year. I have come to the conclusion that they do a better job than the weatherman, for they do not arrive until the weather permits. The calendar also reminds me to clean and make sure the bird houses and the bird feeders are secure. Thanks for a wonderful product DJH. Selma, Alabama My order came today, and I am truly delighted. You are correct they make very different and interesting gifts, A birdhouse gift is how I originally got started watching birds. I have seen many bird feeders, and bird houses in all shapes, sizes, colors, I have seen them made from plastic, metal, and even wood substitute, many of them very attractive, but the birds in our area are pretty smart and given the choice of a habitat that meets their size with the right entrance hole, they will nest. My bird houses always have visitirs who stay for the season. Kirsten W. Senoia, Ga |
